Start-up Cost
Typical start-up cost for a single restaurant is between $250,000 and $350,000 including franchise fees, leasehold improvements, equipment, POS system, opening inventory, and grand opening advertising.
Franchise Fees
The initial franchise fee for a Planet Wings restaurant is $25,000.
Area Development Fees
Area development agreements are available. Discounts are available based upon commitment to open a specific number of stores opened in a defined period of time. This type of agreement provides exclusive rights to the contracted geographical area. Minimum investment in franchise fees is $75,000.
Master Franchise Fees
The master franchise fees are based on population figures for the specific area under franchise. Minimum investment in a master franchise territory is $ 200,000.
Net Worth Requirements
A Single store requires a net worth of $250,000. The franchisee also must have the ability to provide liquid assets, cash or financing--or a combination of any of these sources--totaling $250,000 - $350,000 per store.
Area development requires a net worth minimum of $500,000 and the ability to finance the entire project outlined in the franchisee's plan.
A master franchisee must have a net worth of $1,000,000 and all necessary development and operating capitol.
Ongoing Fees
Monthly Royalty fees: of 6% of Gross Sales paid monthly
Advertising / Marketing Development fees: 1.5 % paid on gross sales monthly
Minimum of 1.5% required to be spent locally by franchisee for advertising and marketing
