How much does it cost to open a Planet Wings?
An average Planet Wings restaurant costs between $250,000 and $350,000 to open. An average Planet Wings store is between 1200 and 1800 sq.ft. although we have some as large as 2500 sq.ft.

What is your royalty fee?
There is a 6% royalty fee on net sales paid monthly.

What is your franchise fee?
A one-time payment of $25,000

How do I find a location?
We will work with you to find a real estate broker in your area to help with the site-selection process. We will have final approval on all sites.

How do I get trained to run my store?
You or your manager or both will spend two full weeks at a Planet Wings training center with a qualified trainer by your side. This is classroom as well as in-the-restaurant training.

If I don’t meet your financial requirements, can I partner with someone who does?
That is acceptable. A financial statement and resume must be provided for each member of your group.

Does Planet Wings provide financing for my franchise?
We do not finance franchises. We will help you in the process of putting together a business plan that will be needed to secure a loan.

What is a UFOC?
The Uniform Franchise Offering Circular helps explain all the main points of the franchise relationship. Included are the form development and franchise agreements and provides information about the company.

What is the potential profit of a Planet Wings?
We would encourage you as a potential franchisee to conduct due diligence that is sufficient to help you make a decision. Profitability of a restaurant is dependent upon many factors such as the ability of the franchisee to manage the business , control operating costs and drive sales volume.

What states are you currently offering franchises in?
Our development plan is to eventually franchise all states. We are currently offering franchises in the following states:
NY, NJ, PA, MD, VA, WV, NC, and DE

I am interested. What do I do now?
1. Read all the information on our web site.
2. Complete our on-line application.
3. Submit a business plan. It can be brief. Include your resume and financial statement for yourself and any partners. Indicate your interest in single store, area development or a master franchise.
4. A UFOC will be sent to you.
5. You will be invited to a Planet Wings discovery day. At this meeting you will learn all about us. You will have an opportunity to sample products, visit a store and ask any questions remaining.
6. Upon our approval of your application, we will then enter into a contract.
